About the Course

It’s one thing to have a decent understanding of the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Protocol (VB-MAPP). It’s another to discuss bringing this tool up to scale in practice. This week we invite local special educator/BCBA, Colleen Callahan, to share her work in implementing the VB-MAPP in the public school setting. We discuss materials management, research on verbal behavior testing techniques, and how to min-max your session. This episode is available for 1.0 LEARNING CEU.

Meet Your Instructors, Rob, Diana, & Jackie

Robert Parry-Cruwys, MSEd, BCBA, LABA is a clinical behavior analyst working in the public school system. Diana Parry-Cruwys, PhD, BCBA-D, LABA is an associate professor of behavior analysis at Regis College. Jackie MacDonald, PhD, BCBA-D, LABA is an associate professor of behavior analysis and assistant dean of health sciences at Regis College.

Meet Your Podcast Guest

Colleen Callahan has been a special educator in the public school system for 13 years, working with young children who have developmental disorders and challenging behaviors that interfere with their access to school. Colleen has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for 6 of those years. She really appreciates a well crafted form. When she’s not running the VB-MAPP or creating data sheets, she enjoys cooking, reading, boxing, and listening to music. Colleen lives in Worcester, MA with her husband, two sons, and dog, where she currently misses people and going outside.
